1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the GlobeGlance platform (website and mobile app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and GlobeGlance Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("GlobeGlance", "we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Services

GlobeGlance provides an online platform for:

  • Indian Railways train ticket booking and e-ticketing
  • PNR status checking and seat availability
  • Tatkal and premium tatkal bookings
  • Booking history and digital wallet management
  • Customer support and travel assistance

We act as an authorized IRCTC agent and intermediary. All bookings are subject to Indian Railways terms and availability.

3. User Eligibility and Accounts

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, suspicious activity, or non-compliance with IRCTC rules.

4. Booking Process and Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only upon:

  • Successful payment processing
  • IRCTC seat allocation confirmation
  • E-ticket generation with valid PNR

You must carry a printed e-ticket or valid ID (Aadhaar/Voter ID) during travel. Tickets are non-transferable.

5. Fees and Payment Terms

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include:

  • Base railway fare (as per IRCTC)
  • Convenience fee: ₹20-50 per passenger (non-refundable)
  • GST on convenience fee (18%)
  • Payment gateway charges (if applicable)

We accept UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets. All payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant partners. No refunds for payment failures after booking confirmation.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations follow Indian Railways rules:

  • More than 48 hours before departure: 100% base fare refund minus clerkage
  • 12-48 hours: 50% base fare refund
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund
  • Tatkal: No refunds permitted

Convenience fees are non-refundable. Refunds processed within 3-5 business days to original payment method.

7. IRCTC Compliance and Limitations

As an IRCTC-authorized agent:

  • We cannot override railway quotas or availability
  • Tatkal booking limits apply (max 4 tickets per user)
  • Schedule changes are beyond our control
  • We are not liable for railway delays/cancellations

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Book tickets for unauthorized resale/scalping
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools
  • Create multiple accounts for quota circumvention
  • Provide false passenger details or documents
  • Harass support staff or misuse services

Violations may result in permanent account bans and reporting to IRCTC authorities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software are owned by GlobeGlance or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license for personal use only. Commercial use or scraping is prohibited.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim all warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose)
  • Our liability is limited to the booking amount paid
  • We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or travel disruptions
  • Railway schedule changes are not our responsibility

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for service interruptions due to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, pandemics, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

12. Termination

We may suspend/terminate your access immediately for:

  • Material breach of these Terms
  • IRCTC rule violations
  • Legal requirements
  • Non-payment of fees

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by arbitration in Kolkata under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Courts in Kolkata have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with the updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Material changes get 30 days' email notice.
